Eduardo Pérez Cortéz, or "Lalo", creates this expression at his family’s ancestral palenque in El Nanche, Oaxaca. Continuing generations of tradition since his father, Tío Tello, Lalo maintains a unique artisanal approach compared to other producers in Miahuatlan. He carefully selects only mature agave and hand-mashes them, a method that has been lost in the region. Aromas of citrus and vegetal notes give way to a high-toned palate featuring hints of chocolate mint, melon, and a mineral finish.
